Family Attractions & Beachside Cabanas Available At 100-Acre Waterfront Resort

(HealthNewsDigest.com) – From giant icebergs and water trampolines to rock climbing walls and massive teeter-totters, children young and old will soon have reason to celebrate as one of summer’s most highly anticipated attractions prepares to open, Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort’s aquatic waterpark. Beginning weekends in late May (May 23-25 & May 30-31) and continuing daily from June 1 through Labor Day, Moe B’s Watersports will be open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. All-day passes are $20 (lower cost partial day passes may also be purchased). Also available at the Dunes are sailing lessons, kayak/electric boat tours and rentals of paddleboats, catamarans, paddleboards and the newest watersport sensation, stand-up paddle boards. Private beachside cabanas also are available for rent and must be reserved in advance.
Among the unique offerings at Moe B’s Watersports:
· Two giant icebergs featuring climbing surfaces of varying difficulty and areas to slide, bounce and jump into the water.
· 12-foot Water Totter that seats up to six and can be rocked back-and-forth to launch occupants into the water.
· Massive rock wall climbing apparatus and dome
· Floating lily pads
· 20’ Rave Super Launch that incorporates a giant trampoline enclosed by various climbing surfaces, a log roll on one side and a slip-and-slide on the other.
· Baby water playground for children under 7

Newport Dunes Resort is a 100-acre waterfront resort featuring a 386-site state-of-the-art RV park, 450-slip marina and a private waveless beach and playground that has been enjoyed by families since 1958. The Dunes also is home to 24 mobile cottages that the public may rent. The 400-square-foot self-contained units feature soaring ceilings, spacious bedrooms, full-service kitchens and private baths. Situated adjacent to the Dunes’ six-lane boat launch, the restaurant offers casual upscale dining with such amenities as a retractable roof that spans a large al fresco dining area. The resort also offers professional catering and event planning services for festive beach parties and for special events from 50 to 5000 guests.
