Berg brings more than 25 years of experience in advocacy and public education, brand marketing and coalition building to the agency. She has worked with many Northwest institutions, including Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Pacific Health Summit, Puget Sound Chapter of the Komen for the Cure and the University of Washington School of Social Work. Berg joins a global team of seasoned healthcare strategists and reports to Tim Fry, general manager of Weber Shandwick’s Seattle office.
Before joining Weber Shandwick, Berg managed her own boutique strategic communications firm which led the launch of Partners for Our Children, a public/private partnership with the University of Washington, Department of Social and Health Services and the community to improve child welfare. Other clients included Global Team for Local Initiatives and The Mockingbird Society, a foster care advocacy organization that promoted Healthcare to 21.
Seattle has become one of the nation’s leading healthcare, public health and life science centers with a significant concentration on innovative healthcare providers, biotechnology firms, global health organizations and life science research institutions.
