How To Look Your Best On The Beach This Summer

(HealthNewsDigest.com) – If you can’t wait for summer sun, but can’t bear to try-on swimsuits, take advice from the professionals and take the dread out of swimwear shopping. No need to worry this year, simply follow this guide to finding the perfect fit for your body.

If You Are Full Busted:

 Bandeau styles give a smaller appearance to the bust
 Look for under wires combined with built-in shelf bras
 Wide and open necklines, that bring the attention to your collar bone and face, will flatter a fuller bust
 Do not wear suits that come up high over the bust because it creates the illusion of a longer and larger bust line
 Halters are also very visually flattering on full bust but it needs to be combined with support from underwire to alleviate too much weight on the neck
 Straps on the shoulder are another appealing option but make sure they have adjustable slides to get the perfect fit
 Tie backs or backs with adjustability are also something important to look for

If You Are Small Busted:

 Look for built-in (not removable) push up pads. Avoid removable pads which can shift around and look uneven as well as show outlines when the suit gets wet
 Ruffles and other details on the cups are also good to give the cups a fuller appearance
 Go uber sexy and get a tini-wini triangle top. Flaunt what you’ve got!

To Create A Smaller Waistline And/or Hips:

 Look for tummy control fabrics in one piece suits
 Tankinis are a great concealer while still giving you the two-piece convenience
 For minimizing the tummy and hip area, a fabulous disguise is shirring that goes across the stomach and/or lower torso
 Color blocking, where the outer sides of the body are a darker color than the middle, visually helps to minimize hips
 Wear leg lines that go a little higher. If the leg line is not high cut enough, it will sit too low on your hip (the widest part of your body) and draw the eye there. If it is higher, your hip and leg will appear elongated and slimmer.

To Slim Your Thighs:

 Draw the attention upwards by pairing a printed tankini or bikini top with a dark bottom
 Never underestimate the power of cleavage. Draw the attention up by showing a little skin. Beautiful cleavage will always attract the eye up and take away from the trouble areas
 A high-cut leg line will create an optical illusion of slim thighs as well as play down the waist and hips.

To Give An Overall Slimmer Appearance:

 To avoid feeling self-conscious in your swimsuit, it’s always good to try a suit with control panels. The extra supportive panels, with high lycra or spandex content will hold you in, creating an overall smoothing effect
 The more adjustable the suit is, the better you will be able to shift it to avoid bulges. Look for a swimsuit with adjustable back and neck straps, as well as slides on the straps. Side-tie bottoms also help to avoid the dreaded muffin-top problem since there is no elastic grabbing the hips
 Try an extra long tankini or a swim dress. These A-line shapes graze the body, creating a feminine shape while only hugging in the right places by the bust line

If You Have A Short Torso

 Short torsos look great in a one-piece which elongates the look of the entire body
 If you are wearing a tankini or bikini be aware of the rise of the bottoms. Short torsos look best in low-rise bikinis that sit on the hip bone which elongate the distance in the mid section.

If You Have A Long Torso:

 Long torsos look better in a tankini with a different color top and bottom that will visually crop the body
 Always make sure your one-piece suit is long enough so the bust support sits in the correct place and is not being pulled down. A suit that is too short will force you to constantly re-adjust, while a suit that is too long will leave you with a saggy bottom that will get worse when you come out of the pool
 If you are wearing a tankini or bikini be aware of the rise of the bottoms. A woman with a long torso should opt for something that comes a little higher to reduce the amount of the torso being shown

Swimwear tips aside, approaching the fitting room with poise is of the utmost importance. Find the perfect swimsuit and feel comfortable and confident at the beach, pool or relaxing at a backyard BBQ this summer!
