Likewise, a policy should not be purchased too late, as coverage is only available for unexpected events.
Keep All Receipts
Travel insurance is designed to reimburse travelers. Therefore, proper paperwork is necessary for travelers who want to get all of their money back after filing a claim. This includes receipts and credit card statements. According to TravelSafe, “in order to make sure your claim is paid in full, it’s important to keep your receipts so that you can produce proof of your expenses.”
