Another major blinds spot for drivers is the side of the car. When you are driving, it is sometimes hard to see things that are right next to the car on either side. That way, when the driver goes to move the car over, they will get an alert and be able to steer back into their own lane in time.

Finally, there are automatic brakes. Even with all the improvements mentioned above, sometimes we take our eyes off the road for a moment. If this happens, you may find yourself about to hit something in front of you without even knowing it. Automatic brakes sense if there is an object in front of you and apply breaks before you hit it. This is a great backup feature to have just in case you decide to look away at the wrong moment.
