Consumers Union Applauds Senate Vote to Move Forward on Health Reform Bill

(HealthNewsDigest.com) – WASHINGTON, D.C. – The Senate today cleared a hurdle in the health care debate by voting to allow debate by the full Senate on the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act.

DeAnn Friedholm, Health Reform Campaign Director for Consumers Union, the nonprofit publisher of Consumer Reports magazine, made the following statement:
