Robert G. Edwards Wins Nobel Prize for Medicine

(HealthNewsDigest.com) – British researcher Robert G. Edwards, who developed test-tube fertilization, has won the 2010 Nobel Prize in Medicine.

The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences said Mr. Edwards “battled societal and establishment resistance to his development of the in vitro fertilization procedure.”
