(HealthNewsDigest.com) – Chicago, IL — Mata Traders, the premier fair trade fashion line, has launched its Spring/Summer 2012 collection Color Your World.

The 36-piece collection captures a sense of energy and artistry using a bold palette of original, graphic prints inspired by luscious fruits and the warm spice of the Southwest. Easy flattering dresses, high-wasted skirts and shorts, standout summer tops, and a flowy jumpsuit – all retailing between $40.00 to $90.00!

The colors this season, in signature block prints and hand-woven ikats, are: tangerine orange, poppy red, pomegranate pink, and bright royal and sky blues.

“What really makes our Spring ’12 collection amazing is that all of the pieces are everyday functional and at the same time, so beautiful that it feels like a special occasion every time you wear them,” says founder Maureen Dunn.

Mata jewelry continues to make a statement with bold, geometric designs in metal, resin, and bone. The collection includes long dangly necklaces and big, chunky bracelets trending this season, all of which retail for under $30.00.

For five years, Mata Traders has made on-trend, fair trade clothing and accessories available to women who don’t want to compromise ethics for fashion and vice versa. The line is designed in Chicago and handcrafted by women’s cooperatives and artisan groups in India and Nepal, providing an essential source of training, income, and benefits to families in poverty.

Interested retailers also can view the collection at www.MataTraders.com and request a wholesale account log in.

The Spring ’12 line is available for purchase in retail outlets around the country and online starting in March.
