How You Deal with Pain

(HealthNewsDigest.com) – Pain affects more Americans than diabetes, heart disease and cancer combined, according to the American Academy of Pain Medicine.

Pain from disease or injury can diminish quality of life — a toll that can be physical and mental.

In this previously aired Mayo Clinic Minute, resiliency expert Dr. Amit Sood offers ideas for dealing with temporary and long-term pain. Jeff Olsen reports.
