(HealthNewsDigest.com) – If a tick has attached itself to your skin, use a fine-tipped tweezers to grab the tick as close to your skin as possible. Gently pull out the tick using a slow and steady upward motion. If possible, seal the tick in a jar. Your doctor may want to see the tick if you become ill after a tick bite. After handling the tick, wash your hands and the bite site with soap and water.
