The announcement of the approval of Fortesta comes just months after the FDA’s unanimous rejection of Flibanserin. Yet, decades after the introduction of Viagra and Cialis, she maintains, women still don’t have as many options…and culture and advertisers lag behind in giving women’s sexual satisfaction the same level of acceptance as men’s sexual needs.
