CBD is short for cannabidiol, which is a compound found in the hemp plant and marijuana plant. CBD is one of many compounds, called cannabinoids, found in these plants. Unlike THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), another cannabinoid found in marijuana, CBD does not produce a “high” or alter a person’s state of mind.

CBD is used for a variety of purposes, including reducing pain and inflammation, reducing anxiety and depression, and improving sleep quality. It can be consumed in several forms, including oils, tinctures, capsules, and topical creams.

It’s important to note that the use of CBD products is regulated differently in different countries and states, and some may have restrictions on the use of CBD derived from the marijuana plant. It is also important to speak with a healthcare professional before using any new supplement, including CBD, to ensure it is safe and appropriate for your individual needs and health status.
